A colour illustration of what looks like a magnifying glass, but it holds a clock face. It is floating in an imaginary landscape of rocks; text reads "Put the past in your pocket."

A selection of the cards available to collect, shown beside the card sleeve. The top one is Tall Tower, and the others are spread out below like a deck of cards.

Member Exclusive - The History Hunt

As a valued member you can collect a card from Scotland’s amazing history when you visit one of our legendary sites. Grab them all to become a heroic History Hunter!

How it works:

Every one of our staffed sites has one of 7 specific collectible cards, only available to members. If you don’t want doublers, look for new places to visit below. If you want to be a History Hunter, your quest is to collect all 7! Remember to show your membership card on-site to redeem your card.

Every card has a rating of Craft, Power and Enchantment which means you can challenge your friends to a showdown and see who’s really the greatest History Hunter! Make sure to ask for your card sleeve when collecting your first card so you can keep them all together.

Instructions printed on cards which look like the collectible ones. They say (1) Check out the list below to find out which sites have the card that you seek. Remember, only our staffed sites have cards! (2) Pick up your card from the till point. Only members can take part, so make sure you have your membership card ready to show. (3) Once you’ve collected all 7 cards you’ll be knighted a true History Hunter! Show your full set to a member of staff to get your badge.
